The site specific installation titled Verrückt records the first months of Ceren Oykut’s migration from Istanbul to Berlin.In the notebook she kept during the German language courses, Oykut caught the clues of an intense and impetuous desire for dialogue and her insistence on self expression. She made a collage of the scribbles she had made and the extra-curricular notes she had written on her notebook and turned it into a mural by enlarging it on the walls and the ceiling of the exhibition space. Verrückt stood on the walls of the Apartment Project for months, was involved in some exhibitions, covered up by some other ones, and ultimately inspired Ceren Oykut’s exhibition titled Still Here in 2018.
