Laut·ma·le·rei is a sound/visual/movement improvisation about tactile sensation. Jazz musician Nicolas Schulze and performance artist Yuko Matsuyama will explore the waves-like correlation between touch and emotions. Visual artist Ceren Oykut applies her brush to the darkness, interpreting the sound/movement scape as landscape through her live black & white drawing.

Lautmalerei (German) = onomatopoeia,
Laut (German) = loud, noisy
Ma (Japanese) = time, an interval, a pause
Malerei (German) = painting
