Black Behaviour is the name of a drawing collection that Ceren Oykut started during her moving process from Istanbul to Berlin. The drawing titled Ich Habe Noch Zwei Koffer in Berlin (I Still Have Two Suitcases in Berlin) is the origin of this collection. This work took its name from the song “Ich hab´ noch einen Koffer in Berlin“ sung by Bully Buhlan, a 78-rpm record, which Oykut found in her apartment where she moved in 2018.
The completion of each drawing spread over long periods of time.
Ceren Oykut still continues to draw for this collection.
